Editorial policy: how we write and update our guides

Who writes our guides

Our guides are written by the MyRemoteVA team, a managed virtual assistant and bookkeeping service based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. We use AI tools to help with research, outlines and first drafts. Every guide is then checked against the rules below before it goes live.

What we check before we publish

• Prices. Every price on a guide must match our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.
• Facts and rules. Tax rates, deadlines and rules come from official sources, and we link to them where we use them. If we cannot confirm a fact, we leave it out.
• Numbers. We do not invent statistics, survey results, customer quotes or reviews. A figure that comes from another organisation is named and linked.
• Competitors. We do not state what other providers charge. Where we compare providers, we use only what each provider publishes, and we say when a price is not public.
• Reviews. We show ratings only from the platform that publishes them, and we link to the source.
• Links. Internal links are tested before publishing.

What our guides are not

Our guides are general information. They are not tax, legal, medical or financial advice. Bookkeeping help means keeping records tidy, not giving tax or accounting advice. Our assistants work online and do not make phone calls, and guides say so where it matters.

No paid placements

We do not run ads or take payment to feature a provider. Nothing on this site is a paid ranking.

Dates and updates

Each guide shows the date it was last updated. We update a guide when prices, plans, rules or our own service change, and when a reader or a check finds an error.

Report a mistake

If you find an error, email info@myremoteva.com with the page address and what is wrong. We correct confirmed errors and update the date.
